Bangladeshi National Arrested for Assisting Suspects in Hadi Murder
Kolkata– West Bengal’s Special Task Pressure (STF) has apprehended a Bangladeshi nationwide, Philip Sangma, for apparently helping the believed killers of Bangladeshi youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi to illegally get in India.
- Sangma is implicated helpful Faisal Karim Masud and Alamgir Hossain, previously apprehended in Bongaon, go across the border after Hadi’s murder.
- Sangma admitted to being a border tout, assisting in illegal crossings through the Haluaghat-Dalupara boundary for repayment.
- Hadi, agent for Inqilab Moncho, was murdered in Dhaka on December 12 th, causing political discontent.
- Sangma is currently in police protection.
