Delhi Faces Water Supply Disturbance As A Result Of Facilities Job
Delhi locals are bracing for supply of water interruptions across a number of areas starting Wednesday, February 25 th, lasting 48 hours. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced the interruption is due to important affiliation work on a 1500 mm diameter raw water line at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant.
- Period: 48 -hour disruption, starting February 25 th.
- Factor: Interconnection work with raw water line.
- Affected Areas: Dwarka, Uttam Nagar, Najafgarh, IGI Flight terminal, and numerous various other nests and villages (see checklist).
- DJB Guidance: Citizens advised to save sufficient water. Water vessels will be available.
