Jaipur: A reduction of 20% has been carried out in all sorts of paperwork associated to land transactions. For this, the state authorities has amended the Stamp Act. Whether it’s a society or different sort of property doc. Whether it’s a present deed or a lease deed, or some other sort of doc. This low cost has been carried out in all.
Any doc executed by unregistered intermediaries, together with land transactions, will now be void if not registered below the Registration Act, 1908.
The Finance Department has amended the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999). Important amendments are being made utilizing the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of part 9.
