A Border Security Force (BSF) head constable posted on the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer allegedly shot himself to dying together with his service rifle, police stated on Friday. The 44-year-old was posted on the Bhonu border outpost within the Shahgarh space. The man recognized as Krishna Kumar, reportedly shot himself on Thursday.
Jaisalmer Circle Officer Roop Singh India stated that the precise cause behind Kumar taking this excessive step is but to be ascertained. “The incident occurred on Thursday. The exact reasons behind the suicide are not clear yet,” Singh stated.
Krishna Kumar hailing from Punjab’s Hoshiarpur was on responsibility when he shot himself and was discovered by his fellow troopers. “Kumar was on duty when he shot himself. Hearing the gunshot, his fellow soldiers rushed to the scene and found him dead,” police stated.
He stated that Kumar’s physique was despatched for autopsy on Friday.
