Death toll within the large blaze that was triggered by the LPG tanker accident on the Jaipur Ajmer Highway, final week, rose to twenty with yet another man succumbing to extreme burn accidents on the SMS hospital in Rajasthan’s Jaipur on Saturday. The demise was confirmed by the SMS hospital superintendent Dr Sushil Bhati.
Bhati mentioned that at present, seven individuals who sustained accidents within the accident have been present process therapy on the hospital.
The Jaipur-Ajmer freeway hearth had left over 40 autos charred. At least 12 individuals died on the day of the accident.

On December 20, a truck hit an LPG tanker on the freeway within the Bhankrota space within the wee hours, sparking an enormous hearth that engulfed different autos on the highway together with a passenger bus. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had visited the SMS Hospital and spoke to docs. He issued instructions to make sure correct therapy of these injured.
“Deeply saddened to hear the news of casualties in the gas tanker fire incident on the Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway. As soon as the information about the incident was received, I went to the SMS Hospital and directed the doctors there to provide immediate necessary medical facilities and take proper care of the injured,” the CM posted on X.
