Jaipur : Efforts have began once more concerning constitutional recognition of Rajasthani language. On the initiative of Education Minister Madan Dilawar, the Chief Secretary has written a letter to the Government of India. This letter has been written to Govind Mohil, Home Secretary of the Government of India.
By writing a letter, it has been really useful to incorporate Rajasthani language within the eighth Schedule. The Chief Secretary wrote in his letter that the advice of the committee constituted below the chairmanship of Sitakant Mohapatra to incorporate extra languages within the eighth Schedule of the Constitution and put together goal standards.
In the advice, numerous languages had been described as eligible for constitutional standing. The suggestion of the committee is into consideration within the Home Ministry. Rajasthani language has not but been included within the eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India. Therefore, applicable orders must be given to present constitutional recognition to Rajasthani language.
The decision has been handed within the Rajasthan Assembly on 3 September 2003. For years, the Rajasthani language of crores of Rajasthanis is but to be accredited.
