Now a shopper care marketing campaign is being run within the state. Under this, motion has been taken towards many companies. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Minister Sumit Godara stated that within the second day of the Consumer Care Campaign being run by the Consumer Affairs Department in view of the competition of Diwali, motion was taken towards 89 companies beneath the Legal Metrology Act. In which, beneath the Packaged Goods Rules, verification certificates and verified weighing scale weren’t present in 13 companies and in 56 companies.
