Rajasthan News: A case of death of a female panther has come to light from Udaipurwati forest area of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan. Where villagers found a female panther near the water hall built at Kiranda Kund temple in Jaitpura village of the district. On receiving information about which the Forest Department team arrived and took the injured panther into their custody. The team found that he was dead. After this, the team got the post-mortem done of the female panther in the presence of senior officials and cremated it duly.
Died before the team reached
DFO Banwari Lal Nehra said that the team of Udaipurwati Forest Department received information from the villagers that there was a panther in an injured condition near the Kiranda temple of Udaipurwati forest area. After the information, when the forest department team reached the spot, a female panther was found lying near the water hall.

When the forest department team went closer and saw that the panther was dead. After this the Forest Department team informed the higher officials about this. Following instructions from higher officials, the Forest Department team reached Indrapura Nursery with the dead body of the panther. Where the post-mortem of the panther’s body was conducted by the Medical Board.

The panther was cremated ceremoniously in the presence of Udaipurwati sub-divisional officer, Gudha police station officer and Jaitpura sarpanch. DFO Banwari Lal Nehra said that higher officials have been informed about the death of the panther. Medical post-mortem has been done and the sample will be sent to Jaipur for further investigation.
