Rajasthan: At least two troopers died and one injured in Bikaner’s Mahajan discipline firing vary whereas loading ammunition in a tank throughout a coaching train immediately (December 18), a defence spokesperson mentioned. This is the second deadly incident within the firing vary this week.
“Two Army soldiers have died in the incident and one is injured,” Defence spokesperson Lt Col Amitabh Sharma mentioned.
Local police officers rushed to the spot as quickly as details about the blast got here in.
“There were three soldiers who were practising with the tank. Ashutosh Mishra and Jitendra died in the explosion. The injured soldier has been taken to Chandigarh in a helicopter,” Circle Officer Lunkaransar (Bikaner) Narendra Kumar Poonia mentioned.
While Mishra was from Deoria in Uttar Pradesh, Jitendra got here from Dausa in Rajasthan. Their our bodies had been taken to the Suratgarh army station.
