Jaipur: Suspended Heritage Mayor Munesh Gurjar has obtained bail within the case associated to corruption in Heritage Municipal Corporation. Bail was accepted within the case on the idea of co-accused getting bail, completion of investigation and no arrest. Munesh Gurjar gave two sureties of Rs 25,000 every and a bond of Rs 50,000.
Judge Surendra Kumar accepted the bail utility in ACB-1 courtroom. Advocate Deepak Chauhan had offered the bail utility on behalf of Munesh Gurjar. It was mentioned within the utility that no bribe quantity has been recovered from the applicant. He has been implicated because of political malice and there’s no restoration and investigation left. The challan has been offered on nineteenth September and there’s no direct and concrete proof within the challan.

Advocate Poonam Chand Bhandari, on behalf of complainant Sudhanshu, opposed the bail and mentioned that she was concerned in a legal conspiracy and the brokers have been taking bribe solely together with her permission. On August 4, 2023, the mayor’s husband Sushil Gurjar, dealer Narayan Singh Gurjar and Anil Kumar Dubey have been arrested by the ACB on fees of taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh. The complainant had made allegations of demanding bribe in trade for issuing the lease.
