Jewish pupils assaulted with glass container on University of Pittsburgh college as pupils return to programs

A crew of Jewish pupils on the University of Pittsburgh was purportedly assaulted with a glass container, leaving 2 pupils wounded, the faculty revealed.

According to a statement from the Pennsylvania college, pupils have been assaulted close to the Cathedral of Learning, a chief deal with the Pittsburgh college, round 11:30 p.m. Friday.

Two pupils have been wounded within the strikes. The pupils, that have been placing on typical Jewish yarmulkes, have been handled on the scene, the faculty claimed.

The declared wrongdoer, the faculty claimed, had no well-known faculty affiliation and was promptly jailed by Pitt Police.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro claimed “antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any kind has no place” within the neighborhood.

“No matter what you look like, where you come from, or who you do or do not pray to, you deserve to feel safe on your campus here in Pennsylvania,” Shapiro posted on X. “As an investigation proceeds, let me be clear: antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any form has no place in our Commonwealth.
