Tata Power’s Hydro Task Deals with Delay Over Environmental Problems
MUMBAI– The Woodland Advisory Committee (FAC) has postponed Tata Power’s proposition to divert 160 78 hectares of woodland land in Pune for an 1800 -MW Pumped Hydro Storage Space Project.

- The task calls for dropping 64, 729 trees in a densely forested location.
- The FAC seeks ecological ministry discuss projects in eco-sensitive locations.
- Problems exist pertaining to the project’s impact on neighborhood wildlife, consisting of leopards.
The state federal government asserts the project will not displace any kind of human habitation, yet the FAC is inspecting its ecological impact. A Tata Power representative declined to comment.
