Mumbai-Pune Expressway “Missing Link” Fully Operational
The Mumbai-Pune Expressway’s “missing out on link,” a 13 3 kilometres passage designed to reduce travel time, is currently completely functional. The Mumbai-bound carriageway opened up Saturday noon, following a hold-up credited to post-inauguration cleanup.
- Inauguration: Principal Minister Fadnavis ushered in the link, gone to by Replacement CMs Shinde and Pawar.
- Travel Time Reduction: The bypass is anticipated to cut travel time by 25 – 30 minutes.
- “Design Marvel”: Includes passages, viaducts, and a cable-stayed bridge.
- Traffic: No major snarls reported because the Pune-bound carriageway opened up.
- Objective: Objectives to alleviate blockage in the accident-prone Bhor Ghat section.
